Story
On 13 September I'll be joining a team of 37 to cycle from London to Brighton in support of The Purple Elephant Project, a charity that Third Space will soon be partnering with.
Many of you know that cycling is something I enjoy, so this isn't about riding 55 miles. It's about using something I enjoy to support a cause that I believe really matters.
1 in 5 children are now struggling with their mental health. If not addressed early, emotional challenges and life experience can lead to a child losing confidence and self-esteem, disengaging from school, a break down in peer and family relationships and isolation for the child and their family.
The Purple Elephant Project provides specialist therapeutic support, addressing issues before they escalate. Their work doesn't just help children cope today; it delivers lasting outcomes that enable them to re-engage with education, strengthen family relationships and build the resilience and coping skills to lead healthier, happier lives.
If you're able to support this ride, I'd be so grateful. You'll be enabling more children to access life-changing support when they need it most , helping changing the trajectory of a child's life and giving them the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
