24 Hour Swimming Challenge · 21 December 2024

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity operates and funds three air ambulances and a fleet of critical care cars covering Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. This lifesaving service costs £13-14 million each year and is funded by donations only.

Story

Midlands Air Ambulance has been operating since 1991, they have responded to over 74,000 missions ensuring dedicated teams of critical care medics bring the Hospital to the patient at the scene.

Approx. 126 life saving missions each day around the UK are completed by Air Ambulance Charities.

The average cost of each mission is approx £4000, annually to maintain the Midlands Air Ambulance service with its 3 Helicopters, critical care cars and the provision of a lifesaving service, each year it costs between £13-14 million.

Time is of the essence, the quicker they can get to the scene of a serious incident or injury, the greater the chance of saving a persons life.

As you can see, it is an AMAZING CHARITY, and rely on charitable donations to keep the Service running 24/7.

My next Charity Fund Raising Challenge is a 24 hour Swimming Challenge for Midlands Air Ambulance weekend 21/22 December 2024.

Please support me raising invaluable funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance.

Thank You
