Story
I've been growing this fine set of flowing locks for over two years now; it's survived a couple of rugby tours, a wealth of nurse's teasing and banter, and introduced me to all sorts of hair-care necessities such as bands and 'scrunchies'.
Now, I'd like to see it go to a good cause, so it'll all be shaved off with the practice clippers in honour of supporting the Sunrise Centre at Treliske, who've taken great care of our very close friend.
If you were able to contribute the price of a coffee or a pint, we'd love to present the team there with a sum that shows how much we appreciate them, and their work, and to help them continue to help people as very best they can.
Cheer all!

A bit about the centre:
The Sunrise Centre at Royal Cornwall Hospital is home to the Radiotherapy Service and Oncology Services. Our dedicated and highly skilled team care for patients receiving cancer treatment in Cornwall.
Everyone in the Sunrise Centre wants patients to receive the very best care, at what can be a very difficult time for them and those closest to them. The Sunrise Centre /Clinical Oncology Fund allows us to go beyond what NHS funding alone can provide.
With your support, we can:
- Enhance the physical environment to create a feeling of calm.
- Purchase advanced equipment.
- Facilitate staff training that goes above and beyond the statutory provision.
- We also buy things such as child support packs for children of different ages whose parents are undergoing cancer treatment
Donations to our charitable fund are used carefully for the ultimate benefit of patient care.
Thank you for your generosity.
