One College Walking event

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. We run HOPELINE247 0800 068 4141 a freephone confidential helpline staffed by trained professionals who give advice, support & information to anyone who is feeling suicidal, or concerned that a young person they know may be at risk

Story

In October, students from all our campuses will come together for the One College Walking Event—a truly inspiring initiative for a vital cause. Participants will walk a half marathon distance from Downham Market Campus to our Sports Campus, Lynnsport, with additional students and staff joining in along the way, making this a collaborative and community-focused effort.

We are walking to raise crucial funds for Papyrus for prevention of young suicide. Every step we take supports essential programs, services, and awareness efforts that help save young lives and provide hope to those struggling with mental health challenges.

The journey may be challenging, but united in purpose, we’re determined to make every mile count. Your support means the world—please donate whatever you can, and help us prevent young suicide.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £15 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives, thank you.
