This year, I’m lacing up my boots, popping on a bit of tartan, and taking on the 14-mile Kiltwalk to raise funds for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart: The School Bank West Lothian.

Every single day, I see firsthand the difference a simple school uniform can make. It’s not just clothes. It’s a child walking into school with their head held high. It’s confidence in the classroom. It’s feeling like they belong.

At The School Bank, myself, our brilliant team, and our amazing volunteers work passionately to make sure no child in our community goes without the essentials they need to thrive at school.

This year, we’ve taken things one step further by launching school camp packs — making sure every child has the chance to join in on one of the most exciting and important milestones of growing up. No child should have to miss out because of financial hardship.

But we can’t do it alone.

That’s why I’m walking. For every child who deserves to feel seen, supported, and included.

And that’s why I’m asking you — from the bottom of my heart — to consider donating. Whether it’s a pound or a penny, every wee bit helps.
