At Coloini + Lane we are committed to giving back to the local community, and once again we'll be taking to the water for The Shakespeare Hospice Dragon Boat Race!

Last year our team came agonisingly close to the podium, crossing the finish line in the grand final in 4th place, just 0.03 seconds behind bronze — so we're back again in 2026 to clinch a medal!

We'll be battling it out against other local businesses on the River Avon, all whilst raising money for The Shakespeare Hospice.

The award-winning Shakespeare Hospice provides outstanding palliative and end-of-life care for patients with a life-limiting illness, along with bereavement support for those who have lost someone close to them. Across South Warwickshire, their expert support reaches patients as well as their loved ones, through a diverse range of community-based services including Hospice at Home & Day Services, Adult Counselling, Therapy Services, Companion at Home, and Children and Family Support.

The Dragon Boat Race is the Hospice's annual flagship fundraising event, bringing local businesses and community supporters together for an unforgettable day. This year it takes place on Sunday 20th September 2026, with teams of up to 17 people racing full-size dragon boats at Stratford Boat Club — a real test of teamwork, rhythm, and commitment.

Last year's race raised over £42,000 for the Hospice — a brilliant result, and we'd love to help them top that in 2026.
