I'm taking part in this great run for my mum. My mother, Colette, sadly passed away on the 3rd November 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. As a tribute to her life, I am going to take part in The AJ Bell Great Run in Birmingham on the 4th May 2025.

All money raised will be donated to the NI Hospice where my mum spent her final days. The NI hospice rely on fundraising, and without their wonderful support at the end of my mums life, things would have been much more challenging for my mum and our family.

The work that they do at the NI Hospice brings dignity and peace of mind for a person at the end of their life and their families as well. It's hard to put into words the gratitude that I have for how much the NI Hospice did for my mum in her final days. The compassion and expertise of the NI Hospice is a priceless gift they offer within palliative care.
