2023 Back-to-School Fundraiser for The 519

About the campaign

Every year The 519 collects school supplies to support local communities. Last year The 519 secured 700 backpacks distributed to families/youth.

This year, our goal is to help secure 900 backpacks. Help us continue supporting local communities by making a donation.

The 519 will distribute supplies during their 7th Annual Back-to-School Bash on August 26, 2023.

Founded in 1975, The 519 is Canada’s most prominent 2SLGBTQ+ community centre and service-provider. The 519 serves marginalized 2SLGBTQ+ communities such as Black, Indigenous and People of Colour and their families, 50+ and elderly, refugees and newcomers, those living with a disability, homeless and street involved, and the Downtown East neighbourhood.
