Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. We are excited to share that we will be participating in the Welsh Three Peaks challenge on Saturday 9th August, to support Compass Merseyside. This charity plays a vital role in our community, providing essential services and support to those in need.

This vital mental health charity supports people in the poorest areas of Merseyside, the Compass volunteers make a real difference to the lives of largely underprivileged people who are experiencing mental distress. I know what excellent work that they do from visiting and fundraising for the charity previously.

We are both Registered Mental Health Nurses and have worked in the NHS for over 7 years in acute and crisis services.

We have previously completed the National Three Peaks challenge, in October 2023, and the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in April 2024, raising over £1100 for Compass, and we want to raise even more this time.

The challenge involves taking on the peaks of Pen Y Fan (886m, 4miles) Cadair Idris (893m, 6 miles) and finishing with the highest peak in Wales, Yr Wyddfa (1,085m, 7 miles). We aim to complete this in 17 hours and unlike the National and Yorkshire challenges we are doing this unaided, we will be doing all of the driving and route planning ourselves.
