Conchita Monahan is raising money for Southern Area Hospice Services
In memory of Mary Monahan

Camino de Santiago · 29 May 2026

Evora Hospice, formerly Southern Area Hospice Services, helps patients with life-limiting conditions live well from diagnosis to end-of-life, providing care tailored to each person's unique needs, wishes, and quality of life.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page and appreciate any donations you may give.

My name is Conchita Monahan and on Friday 29th May, I will be leaving to go walk the Camino de Santiago in memory of my mum , Mary Monahan , who sadly passed away in the Evora Hospice (formerly known as Southern Area Hospice Services) on 17th Feb 2024 and had said to me that she would like money given to the hospice to thank them for the way they where caring for her.

The walk will be over 5 days and begins in Sarria and finishes in Santiago de Compostela 100kms away .

My aim is to try raise £1000 on JustGiving for Evora who supports people with life-limiting conditions from diagnosis to end-of-life, ensuring care is tailored to each patient’s individual needs, wishes, and quality of life throughout their journey.

Once you donate, your money goes directly to the charity, making it the most efficient way to contribute – saving time and cutting costs for Evora Hospice (formerly Southern Area Hospice Services).
