Story

Bristol After Stroke is a charity that is very close to our hearts, as they continue to provide much needed support to our friend Suz, and hundreds of others like her. Their work is vital to the on-going recovery of people that have suffered life changing strokes, giving practical support and help to both those directly affected and their families. One of the most common effects of a stroke is aphasia - imagine not being able to verbally communicate with your friends and family - reading, writing, numbers and understanding others becoming a huge daily challenge. This is just one of the areas where Bristol After Stroke provide much needed help and support, funding and organising vital aphasia groups for individuals to attend.
