Connect’s vision is to create an empowering community for life for all care-experienced young people and adults - an inclusive and safe haven where members can be themselves, be heard, and have the choice of having others alongside them throughout life’s journey.

To commemorate having started to build this amazing community 6 years ago, we aim to have 6 fundraising events throughout the next year with a total target of raising £12,000 for Connect.

The first £2,000 of this target has almost been reached already thanks to the Innovation and Business team at TACT who have kickstarted our fundraising with a Miles For Smiles event throughout September and October 2024!

What is Connect?

Connect is a free community built exclusively for, and with, TACT care-experienced young people and adults.

It’s both a social space and a resource hub that connects members with each other, opportunities, freebies and discounts, support and guidance, giving our care-experienced community a safe place to return to throughout the journey into adulthood and beyond!

Your donations help Connect to provide a wide range of enrichment opportunities and support to this community-for-life.

How do your donations make a difference?

☕ £2 provides a hot chocolate pick-me-up in the post to brighten a member’s day

🥰 £7.50 provides a self-care pamper box

🏠 £100 provides a home-starter kit to help a member when setting up their first home

💻 £500 provides a laptop to enable a member to continue education and training

🧳 £750 provides a get-away weekend for one member to try new experiences
