Story
In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the mammoth challenge of completing the London Marathon in aid of Sense. 🏃🏻♂️
Sense is a charity that specialises in supporting people who are deafblind or have complex disabilities.
Their services include supported living and residential care, specialist support for children and adults, family services, day opportunities and short breaks. The work Sense does is truly exemplary in helping people communicate, make their own choices and live life to the fullest. 💜🧡
Six years ago, my girlfriend Kerrie sustained an incomplete spinal cord injury in a road traffic accident. She fractured both her C5 and C6 vertebrae which left her hemiplegic, affecting the right side of her body.
Since then, Kerrie has inspired me daily. Her determination not to let this hold her back and her drive to shape her own future motivate me more than words can say.
That’s why I’m running — to raise funds for people across the UK and Northern Ireland who are deafblind or living with complex disabilities.
Every donation makes a difference. No amount is too big or too small and your support will go a long way in helping those in need.
The journey has begun — the training will be tough but the finish line will be worth it. Stick around for the ride!
Running for those who can’t, supporting those who can. 💜🧡🏃🏻♂️
