My name is Connie-Ann Hession. I'm running the London Marathon, on Sunday April 26th 2026, in Aid of Foyle Hospice.

The Foyle Hospice provides compassionate palliative care to individuals with life limiting illnesses, their families and carers. All the care provided is free for the patient and their relatives and they rely heavily on support from fundraising, and I'd like to do my bit by challenging myself to running my first ever marathon.

Foyle Hospice has a special place in my heart as it provided care and support for my grandad Connie and my family in his final days. And as a nurse myself I'm very aware of the importance of the work they do.
