Sullivan’s Heroes is a charity offering support and financial assistance for families raising essential funds for vital home adaptations for a disabled child, to continue to care for their child at home, safely and with dignity.

We are having a small extension on the ground floor of our house to create a bedroom, wet room and entrance for our disabled daughter Connie. Connie has multiple medical conditions, hearing and visual impairements and is disabled and relies on a wheelchair and postural support at all times. She is almost 5 and is a happy and beautiful little girl who is loved by many. We need this room desperately now as she is getting so heavy and it is becoming a danger to her to continue carrying her up and down the stairs. Bathing her is almost impossible and it is such a she as she loves having a bath. Any support to help us finish this valuable project would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately there is a shortfall between the government grant which we are entitled to and the cost of the job that is required. It is sad that we have to resort to this to fund this vital adaptation to make my daughters life easier, safer and happier.
