Story
This cause is important to me because:
The Rotherham Hospice gave my step dad Chris the best care at the time when he needed it the most with his battle against Motor Neurones Disease.
He was full of life and supported me and my family endlessly.
Sadly we lost Chris on the 23rd of January so I’m running this race in memory of him.
I’m running the Sheffield Half Marathon to support Rotherham Hospice, a local charity that cares for people in our community who are living with a terminal illness, and supports their families too.
Rotherham Hospice helps people live as fully and comfortably as possible, focusing on the person, not just the illness, and offering compassionate support at home and in the hospice.
As an independent charity, Rotherham Hospice relies on fundraising to continue this vital work, and every donation really does make a difference.
Thank you so much for your support 🧡
