National three peaks · 19 June 2025

In recent years the Isle of Man has seen a significant increase in death by suicide. Our aim is to provide support to individuals who may find themselves in a suicidal crisis. We offer a phone helpline which anyone in a suicidal crisis can call and QPR - suicide prevention training for all.

Story

Our lovely Connor will be attempting the National Three Peaks challenge again on 19th June this year. He will be climbing the three highest peaks across Scotland, England and Wales. Starting with Ben Nevis then on to Scafell Pike and then finishing in Wales with Snowden.

After joining a larger team last year to complete the same challenge, Connor is now going back again, this time as a solo hiker.

Connor will be aiming to raise £2000 for registered charity Isle Stand Up To Suicide.

This is a charity close to Connors heart. He has personally seen the damage and effect suicide leaves behind and is inspired by those close to him who have lost loved ones to this epidemic. He believes the island needs drastic help and wants to raise money to support this amazing charity that provides help and support to those experiencing suicidal ideation.

He wants to use this challenge to highlight the importance of not being afraid to speak up if you are feeling low and to remove the shame and stigma in particular around men's mental health.
