Coatbridge is my hometown, I’ve lived all over the UK but it’s always led me back to Coatbridge. Having lived through ups and downs due to my own bad decisions and mess up’s I’ve used foodbanks before. It seems to be something which is becoming more common place and, now a lot more families and individuals are using food banks wether that be cuts to benefits, bad home life or any kind of fundamental issue from either the public or the government. Yet we need to look past who to blame and look at how, we, as a country can help those in less privileged positions.

Food banks being used more and more means that the amount which can be given to those in need is less and less. I’m looking to raise as much money as possible with an idea of surpassing the amount listed for donations. Win, lose or draw, I want to make a contribution to helping the hard working and caring people who hold these foodbanks up with their bare hands. I appreciate you taking the time to read this & hopefully see you on the 19th of July!
