Story

Danny O’Neill — In Loving Memory

In memory of my much-loved Dad, Danny O’Neill, who spent the final two months of his life at St Joseph’s Hospice.

We have set up this fundraising page as a way of saying thank you to all the wonderful staff at St Joseph’s Hospice — including the nurses, doctors and everyone who cared for Dad during his final weeks. The kindness, compassion and dignity they showed him and our family meant more to us than we can ever put into words.

Dad passed away peacefully on 12th August 2026, with me, his son Connor, and close family by his side. We will always be grateful that his final moments were surrounded by the people who loved him, in a place where he was cared for so incredibly well.

In place of flowers, we would be grateful if you would consider making a donation to St Joseph’s Hospice in Dad’s memory. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help the hospice continue providing the same care, comfort and dignity to other patients and their families in the future.

Thank you to everyone who supported my Dad and our family, and to the incredible team at St Joseph’s Hospice for everything you did for him.

Rest peacefully, Dad. 💙
