Story
My climbing journey in memory of my best friend Ali continues, and this time we are going bigger than ever before.
After summiting each UK peak individually, climbing the Yorkshire Three Peaks in under 12 hours, and most recently completing the National UK Three Peaks in under 24 hours (raising over £10k in the process, thanks to all your amazing donations), it's time to take the journey international and take on one of the big boys, Kilimanjaro.
This time around, I have chosen to raise money for M.A.T.E, men and their emotions, after building an amazing relationship with the team through our partnership at LUKE 1977. The passions of the team, the community that they have created, and the awareness they are building for mental health is incredible, and I am really grateful for all the work they do.
This trip is an expensive one, but it will all be self funded. The hike will take 7 days for August 31st 2026, and the summit sits at a massive 5,895m above sea level, it's over 4 times the size of Ben Nevis, and will be just under double the elevation I did for the UK three peak challenge. Therefore I have set the biggest target yet of £5,895 (£1 for ever metre of elevation).
As always I thank you for the support and for keeping the memory of Ali alive, donate what you can, when you can, every donation means the world to me, and makes a huge difference to the cause.
