From now through the end of February, I will be fundraising for Camp Sunshine at Sebago Lake.

Camp Sunshine provides hope, joy, and community for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At its pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Casco, Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions - connecting families who share and understand each other's unique journey.

I have had the honor of serving as a volunteer at Camp Sunshine over the past several years and have been deeply moved by the bravery, resilience, and lived experiences of the campers and their families. Witnessing their strength has inspired me to pursue a major in biology, with the goal of using my education to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children like them.

All donations directly support Camp Sunshine’s programming, which remains completely free for all participating families. Contributions help fund weekly family sessions focused on specific rare disorders; providing lodging, meals, transportation assistance, and on-site medical care. Donations also help form new partnerships with children's hospitals all across the country.

To these campers and families, giving to Camp Sunshine isn’t just a donation; it’s an investment in their happiness, healing, and lifelong community.
