It's been 10 years since my Mammy passed away just as 2015 began.

Before she passed, in the middle of that cold and dark January night a professional, kind and caring woman arrived to help make her last hours more comfortable and dignified.

She helped ensure Mammy stayed where she wanted to be - in her own home surrounded by those who loved her most.

Her name was Kitty. She was a Marie Curie Nurse. I'll never forget her.

In memory of my Mammy. To say thank you to Kitty. And to give something back to a charity that helped my family so much in our hour of need, my brother in law Jamie and I will be running the Belfast City Marathon on 4th May 2025.

You have all been wonderfully supportive of our fundraising efforts over the last 10 years, so forgive me for asking one more time.
