Fight Night For The Lily Foundation 2024 · 2 May 2024 ·

Fight Night is back - Bigger and better! This is a fabulous night in The Lily Foundation Calendar. An amazing group of people will train and fight for a cure! Please donate and support them in making a difference to all those affected by Mito.

Story

The Lily Foundation Fight Night 2024 is going to be knock out. I'm joining a group of people who have never boxed before, training hard to compete in the ring on 2 May 2024 at the Clapham Grand to fight for a cure to Mitochondrial Disease.

10 million people in the UK suffer from diseases in which mitochondrial dysfunction is believed to be involved, while every day in the UK a baby is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease. The disease is debilitating and there is no cure, lives are cut short. The Lily Foundation is fighting to change this. Their ultimate aim is to one day find a cure for mito.

Some of you will know that my opponent Charlie and I have been close friends since school, so we're both very keen to get in the ring and give it everything to get one over the other. "Fight of the Night" were the words we heard... and someone mentioned something about all the fights being filmed on Sky Sports?! No joke.

Watch our socials for announcement of ticket releases, and message me if you fancy a spot on a reserved table. All of the fights will be a great watch with everyone having trained really hard for this great cause, putting a lot of time and effort into fundraising too; not least the members of The Lily Foundation itself whose determination to raise awareness for this cause is tireless and selfless.

I need your support, but more importantly so does everybody affected by Mitochondrial Disease and related dysfunctions. Every single penny raised makes a difference.

Thank you
