Brinklow FC fundraiser for Parkinson’s UK In Memory of Bolty

Conor McKiernan is raising money for Parkinson’s UK
In memory of Mick "Bolty" Holt

The National 3 Peak Challenge · 23 September 2025

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I am taking on the UK 3 Peak Challenge in memory of the Legend Of Brinklow, Mick "Bolty" Holt. This challenge holds a special place in my heart as I aim to honor his life and the memories he left behind. Mick was a true legend – full of energy, kindness, and an infectious sense of humor. Whether you knew him through work, sport, or simply as a friend, his presence was always felt, and his impact unforgettable.

The UK 3 Peak Challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in just 24 hours! It’s a tough physical challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the strength and spirit Mick showed in everything he did.

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting a cause that was close to Mick’s heart. All donations will go toward Parkinson's UK to make a positive difference in the world, just as Bolty did in his own unique way.

I’d be grateful for any support, big or small, to help me complete this challenge in Mick's memory. Together, we can make a lasting impact while celebrating the life of someone who will never be forgotten.

Thank you for your support. 💙
