I'm running for Down's Syndrome Manchester

Conor Sheehan is raising money for Down's Syndrome Manchester

AJ Bell Great Manchester Run 10K 2026 · 31 May 2026 ·

We are a team of supporters, members, volunteers and friends taking on the Great Manchester Run on 31st May 2026, in support of a very special charity - Down's Syndrome Manchester.

Story

I am taking on the Great Manchester Run 10km on 31st May 2026 to raise money for my very special support group, Down's Syndrome Manchester, which I have been a member of since I was 5 years old! I have only taken up running recently so I’m really trying my best, and have been busy training on the treadmill daily and doing park runs at weekends.

Please show your support by making a donation. Every donation- big or small- will help continue vital services and much needed inclusive support for our community of young people with Down syndrome and their families, also providing social opportunities to build friendships, and learning for all age groups. Some of my favourite past activities with my friends were Chatterbox to improve my speech and language, indoor crazy golf, bowling, music nights, attending the Forever Manchester Awards, cooking classes, dance sessions and visiting NQ Studios where Aitch, the rapper, records his music.

If you're able to give, we would be so grateful. And if you can’t, sharing this page would mean just as much!
