This year's chosen charity for our annual bike ride is Solent Ski Club for the Disabled which aligns to our new project in Southampton which will include a new Ski Slope at the Outdoor Sports Centre.

They are a Southampton based self-governing ski club, run entirely by volunteers, with Affiliated Membership of Snowsport England.

They aim to deliver high quality ski guidance as a means of providing greater independence and enjoyment for skiers with disabilities. The Club also aims to develop the skiing knowledge and skills of all Club members. They have Qualified Ski Instructors, Ski Guides trained to SSCD levels (originally BSCD), and many other qualified and unqualified helpers.

They meet on the second SUNDAY of every month (except Aug) at the Alpine Centre, Sports Centre, Bassett, Southampton. SO16 7AY as well as organising an annual trip.
