In celebration of our birthday, we're taking over new NQ stalwart renae for a full day-into-night boogie session, featuring some of our resident DJ family.

Headlining the event is Bristol heavyweight Admin. A studious beatsmith, DJ and producer, Admin draws influence from his record collection, taking in Disco, Jazz, House and Hip Hop to guide his own productions into different soulful and eclectic directions.

We've chosen to support Manchester Mind as mental health in the music industry - and the night time economy more generally - is a crucially important yet often overlooked topic.

With gig work often resulting in unstable incomes, less work due to the struggling hospitality landscape in the UK, and a culture which often normalises excessive alcohol and drug use, the factors which contribute to mental health issues in this sector are many.

We want to acknowledge the challenges that professionals in this space often face, and show our support by donating to Mind, who do incredible work in the mental health sector.

Manchester Mind is an independent, local charity, which supports over 11,000 young people and adults each year. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health and we want to make it easier to ask for help. Our charity values the commitment of our staff and volunteers, who work hard to ensure services are delivered in a way that enables people to feel heard and involved.
