Story
On 28 October, we have 13 colleagues "stepping up" to save lives, by taking part in the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) Tower Run. The Tower Run is the tallest and toughest stair run in the UK, entailing over 1,400 steps (56 Floors) to the top.
The thirteen ION volunteers are: Charlotte Keigher, George Hay, Hana Ismail, Jaden Pfister, Jose Roberto Castro, Kreshnik Deliu, Ro Chauhan, Samantha Williams, Sameer Shangloo, Samuel Shorthouse, SiuFung Lam, Tolu Falola, Vania Lay.
They are taking part to honour the memory of Luke Laidley, our colleague who lost his life on July 4th while bravely rescuing children from drowning on Lake Michigan.
RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue around the seas, coasts, and inland waterways of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help.
Tower Lifeboat Station on the River Thames is the busiest in the UK. Every pound and penny raised in this appeal will allow the RNLI to carry on their lifesaving mission on the Thames.
By donating you'll be making a valuable contribution to the city of London, positively impacting thousands of people, investing in the RNLI and helping save hundreds of lives for decades to come.
Thank you for your support.
