Story
CPW Supporting Tough to Talk
We're excited to be coming together as CPW to support Tough to Talk – an inspiring charity dedicated to men's mental health, suicide prevention, and encouraging more open, honest conversations around these vital issues.
We've chosen to support Tough to Talk for a very personal reason. The charity was founded by Steve, the partner of our fellow CPW colleague Becks, and we're incredibly proud to support one of our own while helping raise awareness for such an important cause.
In the UK, suicide remains the leading cause of death for men, with around 75% of all suicides affecting men. This is a heartbreaking statistic and one we are determined to help change. Tough to Talk is working to break the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage open conversations, and ultimately save lives. We're honoured to play a small part in supporting that mission.
The Challenges
This September, colleagues from across CPW will be taking on two fundraising challenges in support of Tough to Talk.
Robin Hood Half Marathon - The Midlands team will be taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon on Sunday 27 September 2026. Covering 13.1 miles through Nottingham, we'll be challenging ourselves both physically and mentally, all while raising awareness and funds for an incredibly important cause.
Vanguard Tough Mudder Takeover - The South team will be taking on the Vanguard Tough Mudder Takeover 2026 on Friday 18 September 2026. Tackling a demanding 5km course featuring 17 obstacles at Tough Mudder London South in West Sussex, we'll be putting our teamwork, determination and resilience to the test in support of Tough to Talk.
Why Your Support Matters
This is about far more than completing a half marathon or overcoming obstacles. It's about helping Tough to Talk continue their incredible work in supporting men's mental health, preventing suicide, and creating spaces where people feel comfortable having difficult but important conversations.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help fund the charity's ongoing work and bring us one step closer to making a real difference.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and for supporting both our teams and Tough to Talk. Your generosity and encouragement mean a great deal to us all.
Together, we can help make it easier to talk.
