Co-op Funeral Directors, a part of Chelmsford Star Co-op, has supported the Royal British Legion for decades, transporting poppy collections across Essex and fundraising where we can. The team jumped at the chance of doing a 'sleep out' to raise awareness for the charity and earning them additional funds, and we'll be setting up camp outside Writtle Church on 22nd March.

Seven of the team will be swapping their beds for a sleeping bag to raise vital funds and awareness for over 6000 veterans that are experiencing homeless in the UK right now.

With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability.
