Story

Following the tragic loss of our beloved family member, John Browell, we would like to support the exceptional work of the Great North Air Ambulance Service, whose incredible response, compassion and support meant so much to John’s close family during an unimaginably difficult time.

John Browell, husband of Fiona, Helen’s cousin, and father of Ridley and Lewis was a loving family man and an exceptional and incredibly well-respected farmer in our area, known and loved by many.

As a family, we are raising money for this amazing charity who desperately need funding towards new helicopters. If you would like to make a donation, any contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your kindness and support.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 2,083 call outs in 2024 alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.
