The Cordwainers Company is a City of London Livery Company. In 2024-2025 the Cordwainers Company's Charity of the Year is Walking With The Wounded.

Story

As part of the Cordwainers' 2024-2025 campaign in aid of Walking With The Wounded (WWTW), nine teams of members, their family members and friends will be taking part in the Cumbrian Challenge in Grasmere on 17th May.

Cords Team 1 - Lake Rakes: Liveryman Elisa Anniss, Kyle Rainford, and Rebecca Minty.

Cords Team 2 - Cordwalkers: Past Master Jeremy Blanford, Past Warden Liveryman Sarah Cartlidge, Deborah Hughes and Past Master Patrick Peal.

Cords Team 3 - Broken Heels: Past Master Judith Millidge, Liveryman Eleanor Stillwell, and Yen Foong.

Cords Team 4: Master Cordwainer Jonathan Church, Xara Church, Liveryman William Church, Jon Millidge, and Past Master John Peal.

Cords Team 5 - Summit Soles: Liveryman Laura Caldecott, Freeman Cynthia James, Andrew James, Liveryman Ana Williams-Thong, and Jesse Williams-Thong.

Cords Team 6: Liveryman Guy West, Fiona West, Liveryman Dominic Casey, Freeman Michael James, and Freeman Lona Jones.

Cords Team 7: Freeman Caroline Townsend, Hugh Graham-Watson, Emily Townsend, and Fiona Leslie.

Cords Team 8: Liveryman Jack Hooper, Olivia Richmond, Liveryman Katie Greenyer, Freeman Brian Kutsch (https://www.justgiving.com/page/brian-kutsch-1), and Liveryman Toya Peal.

Cords Team 9 - Tough Old Boots: Liveryman Daniel Emerson, Mathew Gibbins, Reuben Zed Maltby, and Jason Simpson.

WWTW is a UK charity for military veterans who are struggling and need of individualised support. WWTW empower veterans by reigniting their sense of purpose, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their communities and lead independent lives.
