Beauty with a Purpose is more than just a name—it’s a movement that has been changing lives since it was founded by Julia Morley, Chair of the Miss World Organization, in 1971. What began as an idea to use beauty as a force for good has grown into one of the most impactful charitable initiatives linked to the global pageant world.

At its heart, Beauty with a Purpose is dedicated to improving the health, education, and wellbeing of children across the globe. Over the decades, it has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for projects such as:

Providing life-changing cleft palate surgeries in countries like Sri Lanka, Russia, and South America.

Supporting humanitarian aid with partners such as Jackie Chan and the Chinese Red Cross.

Funding education, healthcare, and relief for disadvantaged children in communities worldwide.

In the UK, Beauty with a Purpose is also a registered charity (Charity Commission no. 1142826), which continues this mission through grants to projects supporting children’s health, education, and poverty relief.
