My Nana, Marlene Tatum, sadly passed away on the 30th December 2025.

She was diagnosed with dementia over 10 years ago and fought courageously against it the entire time. Seeing her battle was extremely tough and showed just how horrible a disease this is.

Therefore I would love to use the opportunity of running the Cambridge Half Marathon to try and raise some funds towards finding a cure. Hopefully one day this can be achieved and no one else will have to suffer with dementia.

Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
