Story
I was only a baby when I was diagnosed with Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD), a rare immune deficiency that means my body can’t fight infections like most people’s can. Since then, I’ve faced countless hospital appointments, surgeries, and more medication than I can remember, from Great Ormond Street to Leicester Royal Infirmary.
Living with CGD hasn’t been easy and in the next few years I’ll be undergoing a bone marrow transplant that will completely change my life. It’s daunting, but it also gives me hope for a future where CGD doesn’t define me.
That’s why I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. to raise money for the Immune Deficiency charity, an organisation that supports people like me living with rare immune conditions.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help make a difference. Thank you so much for your support together we can raise awareness and give hope to those living with immune deficiencies.
In April 2026, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for this special cause. Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can it really will make a massive difference.
