Story
Jocelyn was diagnosed and hospitalized with failure to thrive right after her 2-month appointment, after weighing in less than her birth weight. Little did I know the journey that would follow of therapies, specialists and medical tests trying to determine the root cause of her hypotonia, weight loss and developmental delays. After almost 7 long years, she was diagnosed with CFC Syndrome, with seizures starting 3 weeks later. Jocelyn, along with many of her CFC brothers and sisters, has what is deemed medicine-resistant seizures.
CFC International's Unstoppably Bold events, like our Family Fun Walk, will serve as our largest community awareness and fundraising endeavor for the organization fueling essential CFC syndrome research, a robust clinical care network and impactful family support programs.
If you can't join us in person for the walk, I would appreciate any contribution and for you to share this in hopes of raising CFC awareness.
