Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As those of you who remember my Brave the Shave for MacMillan (photos available on request) will know, from time-to-time I like to challenge myself to do something whilst raising money for charity - this year it is to walk the Cornish Celtic Way.
This has coincided with the fabulous Sandi Perry becoming the Ladies Captain at Lanhydrock Golf Club. Her chosen charity is Cornwall Air Ambulance and so it seems like kismet.
Cornwall Air Ambulance was the first air ambulance in the UK and every year their crews attend more than 1,000 missions and with no government funding. One in four of their missions go to patients suffering cardiac arrest, while one in ten are to help children.
The Cornish Celtic Way is a new pilgrimage route covering 125 miles through Cornwall from St. German’s to St. Michael’s Mount. It incorporates over 60 miles of the Cornish coastal path as well as two established pilgrimage routes.
I will be doing the first walk on 31st March walking from St German's to Looe.
Other dates for the remaining walks can be found on the Facebook page "Corinne's Cornish Celtic Way Walk", if you would like to keep me company on any of them please let me know.
If you would like to support Sandi and wanted to sponsor me then the Just Giving link is shown below - please don't forget to Gift Aid if you can
