Team Marsden are raising funds by taking on the fantastic South Downs Way Trek 2025 to make a difference to cancer patients everywhere.

Story

Thanks to all your support and the beautiful weather, my father-in-law Hans and myself completed the South Downs Way Marathon yesterday!

The 26.2 miles flew by and it was fantastic to be joined by our families at Cuckmere Haven to trek the Seven Sisters together, then down to the finish line from Beachy Head to Eastbourne.

All your contributions are appreciated and allow this fantastic charity to continue its stellar work.

As part of Team Marsden for the South Downs Way Trek 2025, we are embarking on a journey that will make a profound difference to cancer patients everywhere. This challenge is deeply personal, as one of our loved ones is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy at the Royal Marsden. The treatment and care provided by this remarkable institution are nothing short of outstanding, but they need our continued support.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity is dedicated to raising funds solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. Their mission ensures that nurses, doctors, and research teams can deliver the very best care and develop life-saving treatments that benefit patients across the UK and around the globe. From funding state-of-the-art equipment to pioneering groundbreaking research, they tirelessly seek ways to enhance the lives of those affected by cancer.

We invite you to join us in this vital cause. Your generous contributions will help us reach our target of £1,000 as we trek on May 3rd, 2025. Together, we can support the incredible work being done at The Royal Marsden and bring hope to countless individuals battling cancer.
