I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 6 April to raise funds for Cosy Coats, a charity working with schools to provide warm, fashionable, and brand new coats to children who would otherwise not have one for the winter.

Arriving at school freezing cold and wet has a detrimental impact on learning and health outcomes, and many of these children may possibly go back to unheated homes.

Trying not to rely on second hand coats or hand-me-downs because children deserve something new and something fashionable that they can be proud to wear in front of their peers. Many people will know the self-esteem that comes with wearing a brand new item of clothing of your own.
