Alhamdulillah - Birmingham and beyond we did it! During the month of Ramadan we were able to raise for a 40ft container full of food parcels for Gaza. Which are on their way right now after I travelled to Cairo to pack and load them on your behalf.

The generosity of everyone has meant that we exceeded our target and have a surplus but not quite enough to fill yet another 40ft container full of flour. That’s 25 tonnes that will feed thousands upon thousands of people with a staple food item that is both an important food source and integral to the Palestinian diet. Insha Allah we can do this by raising just another £7000 pounds to send a whopping 25’000 kgs of flour into Gaza!

As Birmingham based ISRA-UK continues its support for the besieged population of Gaza, they have partnered with organisations in Egypt to launch a crucial aid campaign during this blessed month of Ramadan in sha Allah.

This Ramadan I am reaching out to you because I believe your involvement can have a significant impact on the lives of thousands in Gaza. Alhamdulillah the team in Egypt is actively coordinating the preparation and dispatch of humanitarian aid. I have the intention to join them to oversee the packaging of your donations and distribution via Egypt to Gaza on your behalf.

The importance of unity at this time is paramount, and your participation is invaluable. Your contribution can help alleviate the suffering of those affected in Gaza. We appeal to you to join hands with us in this noble cause and help us support the people of Gaza.
