Coundon Christmas Lights Switch on is an event in Coventry not to be missed.

At Christmas there’s many family that have Christmas traditions and our light display soon became one .

It started out with a few Christmas lights that were placed in the windows of my mum's house and then every year I added a new decoration and over the years the display became bigger and bigger.

Neighbours and friends came to watch the lights being switched on and it was an excuse for family and friends to come together to start the count down to Christmas.

As I got older, I moved into my own place . The lights came with me and the decorations got bigger and stretched from the brick work to cover the garden and driveway.

We decided to start raising money for charities as more and more people visited to see our display.

Over the last 7 years We have had our local news reporters radio and tv visits to report on our lights.

So far we have raised over £35,000, for Zoe’s place baby hospice Coventry , and this year will be no different.

Without all your kind donations this would not be possible, so from the bottom of our hearts thank you all so very much.
