Country music radio stations are uniting for a special charity weekend. · 12 July 2025

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses – who we continually support and develop – provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.

Story

Country music radio stations are uniting for a special charity weekend, Country Music United Against Dementia, to raise vital funds for Admiral Nurses—specially trained dementia nurses who provide expert support to families and loved ones of those diagnosed with dementia. While Admiral Nurses only support patients within the UK, they offer guidance and help to family and friends worldwide, ensuring no one faces this journey alone. This essential service receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations to continue its life-changing work. Dementia affects millions, but with the right support, families can navigate its challenges with greater strength and understanding. Our event, taking place on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th of July 2025, aims to make a real difference, and we invite you to contribute—donations can be made before, during, and after the event. No matter where you are in the world, please show your support for Admiral Nurses. Memories Should Last a Lifetime, and together, we can help ensure that those affected by dementia receive the care and support they deserve.
