I have made the crazy decision to abseil off of the brand new acute services block at the L&D to raise funds for maternity, theatres, critical care and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU)!

Having worked with the teams on the project over the past few years and seen the amazing work they do in caring for patients and families, I thought I'd set myself a challenge to give something back.

I've been to the top of the building before, but thought I'd only ever come back down via a lift or stairs!
