Welsh Three Peaks Challenge

Here at St Kentigern Hospice we offer specialist palliative care for people with life threatening or life limiting illnesses. We focus on the patient's quality of life by controlling symptoms through a holistic approach taking into account their physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs.

Story

Hi everyone!

We're Courtney & Rhian, part of the St Kentigern Hospice Fundraising Team, and we are taking on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge—hiking Snowdon, Cadair Idris & Pen y Fan in just 24 hours! ⏳💪

As fundraisers at the hospice we work to organise events, inspire supporters, and secure vital donations to help the hospice provide compassionate care for patients and families. Now, we feel like it's our turn so we're stepping up—literally!—to push ourselves to the limit and raise even more. ❤️

We are also fundraising in memory of Courtney’s dad, an incredible man who sadly passed away at St Kentigern Hospice in 2018 after a short battle with a brain tumour. The hospice became a home from home for all family, providing not only exceptional care but also comfort and support during such a difficult time. This cause is so close to our hearts, and we want to give back to help them continue their amazing work. Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference. Thank you for your kindness and support!

At St Kentigern Hospice we provide palliative care for people with life limiting illness. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life of our patients, enabling to live well with their condition. We achieve this by providing specialist care in our state of art 12 bedded inpatient unit. Each patient receives tailored care to their needs which is achieved through our wide range of therapies on offer to improve their quality of life and offering their families support as well.

St Kentigern's are also celebrating their 30th anniversary this year. Let's raise as much as possible to keep the hospice here for another 30 years.

We can't wait to keep you updated with our journey!
