🥊 Fighting for Dad – Raising Money for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis

I’m taking on a Muay Thai charity fight to raise money for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis, a charity that is very close to my heart.

My dad was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and, unfortunately, lost his fight last year.

Dad was the most friendly, happiest, caring and funny man. He was an amazing husband, dad, grandad and friend to so many people. He brought so much happiness to those around him and is missed every single day.

Dad was always the person who supported me in every challenge I took on. He was also always intrigued by my journey into Muay Thai and would ask questions and take an interest in what I was doing. So, here I am — stepping into the ring!

I’m incredibly sad that he won’t be here to watch me take on this challenge, but I know he would be so proud. ❤️

I’m raising money for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis because they provide amazing support, information and guidance to people living with pulmonary fibrosis and their families, helping to make what can be an incredibly difficult and frightening journey a little less painful.

This fight is going to be tough, but knowing I’m doing it in memory of my dad and to help other families affected by pulmonary fibrosis will give me all the motivation I need.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and my family. Every contribution will help support a charity that made a difference to people going through what my dad and our family went through.

Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a growing community of patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals striving to find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis so that everyone affected by the disease has a better future. They provide personalised support to patient and families - and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education. We are also committed to funding research to improve the quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis today and tomorrow.
