On the 28th November 2025 our beautiful baby girl Aria left us too soon at just 6 months old our world fell apart but we refuse to let her light fade. This just giving has been set up to honour her memory by raising funds for a cuddle cot at a local hospital in need.

We didn’t get the chance to have a cuddle cot /cooling cot there wasn’t one available for us to spend that extra time with our little girl and this happens more than people know.

I don’t want another family to not have that chance I want to do as much as I can in memory of my little girl and give back to other families that are in the same position I was in.

The Abi Cooling Cot is a refrigerated unit that allows families to spend more time with their deceased baby than would otherwise be possible.

The cooling cot helps parents to bond with their baby and aids the grieving process. Since 2017, Abigail’s Footsteps, in partnership with The Bond Group, has delivered over 300 Abi Cooling Cots to hospitals and hospices across the UK and Ireland. In 2025, we even shipped five cots to Australia, because every family deserves this gift of time no matter where they are.

It is our mission to encourage all bereavement suites in hospitals to have at least two cooling cots.
