Beast Fundraisers not only take on our 10-mile, 30 obstacle course in Erie, PA, but they also support children and adults with autism, intellectual disabilities or behavioral health challenges at the Barber National Institute throughout Pennsylvania.

Story

The 12th and final Barber Beast on the Bay is upon us and for one last send off, I am fundraising to benefit the Barber National Institute (BNI). The Beast on the Bay is one of BNI’s signature fundraising events. This will be my 7th time “Beating the Beast” and my 2nd time competing in the Elite division.

This event is unique in that there’s a one-mile adapted course for adults with intellectual disabilities and a shared finish line with the 10-mile course participants, all crossing the finish line together.
