Cousins Crossing - our hike for Hannah

Our Hike for Hannah
In November 2023 we lost our brilliant, kind and talented cousin Hannah Hawkins, to Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
In honour of Hannah, and in solidarity with Hannah’s wonderful dad and brother (Mark & Ollie) who are doing the North Downs challenge in July for CoppaFeel! - we will be trekking a large part of the Pilgrim’s Way over four days this summer, to raise funds to add to their pot. The Pilgrims' Way is the route supposedly taken by pilgrims from Winchester in Hampshire, to the shrine of Thomas Becket at Canterbury - where Hannah went to uni.
All of this walking has been inspired by Hannah, who took on a 100K challenge in the Sahara Desert for CoppaFeel, in 2022. Hannah supported CoppaFeel’s mission: to create awareness amongst young people, and instil a healthy behaviour that could one day save a life. They are working to ensure breast cancer is diagnosed early by getting the nation to check their boobs/chest regularly.
Hannah was a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness and we are so inspired by how she shared her story to educate others even when it became very hard. Our hike is a small way of honouring our beautiful and determined cousin.
Thank you for anything you can donate in Hannah's memory. We hope to do her proud.
