Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Starting from 9am from Coventry Transport Museum in Millennium Place and ending at 3pm at the War Memorial Park in Coventry, we are organising a women's ride in celebration of Eileen Sheridan, lauded by the press at the time as the "Mighty Atom", the outstanding British female rider in the decade after the Second World War. She was born in Coventry and active in our club as a recreational rider before she took up racing.
Join us on our 30 mile 2026 IWD ride on 8th March to learn more about Eileen's record breaking achievements.
From the Transport Museum we'll move to the Butts Arena; we then ride via Cubbington and Offchurch to join the Lias Line cycle route; after a stop at the Harvester pub in Long Itchington; ending at the War Memorial Park.
