HELP CHRIS AND JAMIE CROSS THE FINISH LINE!

Running for Ability, Strength & Inclusion- Oxford Half Marathon, 12th October 2025.

Hi, my name is Violetta (or just Vi),and I'm a 49-year-old support worker with deep passion for helping people with learning disabilities live full, empowered lives. I'm incredibly proud to support two amazing young men, Chris and Jamie, as they take on the Oxford Half Marathon this October.

Chris and Jamie are both autistic and full of determination, humour, and heart. This challenge means more than just running- it's about proving that disability doesn't mean inability.

Chris is kind, smart, and always up for any activity, though he's a bit quiet with new people.

Jamie, who also has physical disability and had a life-changing kidney transplant, is a full of strength, resilience and fantastic humour.

We're are running to raise money for Style Acre, a wonderful charity that support people with learning disabilities and autism to lead meaningful, fulfilled lives. From support living and day services to work opportunities and social inclusion, Style Acre is making a real difference- and we want to give back.

We've been training hard, celebrating every little win, and pushing through the tough days. This half marathon is a symbol of everything Chris and Jamie have achieved- and all the dreams they're still chasing.
